With a million people in the crowd and a billion more at home watching, we helped Kia become the talk of the night, by turning the largest billboard in Times Square into a cultural moment at the stroke of midnight.

The Kia EV9 powered up an electrifying question.


With all eyes locked in on the 200-foot-tall One display at the 60-second countdown to midnight, a man emerged from the Kia EV9 onscreen and plugged in an electric sign to the EV9’s Onboard Power Station, illuminating a life-changing question. He proposed marriage to his girlfriend of six years, Hayle, who was in the crowd below with real-life Garrett, as one million people in the crowd cheered them on. The Kia EV9 gave our lucky couple a night they will never forget and gave the bride-to-be the Most Electrifying Proposal, ever.
